TGIF…and new stuff

Finished this necklace yesterday among many other things as I had the day to work in solitude. No radio…no nothin’. I got a lot done and enjoyed the time getting things straightened out in my shop/studio. Always changing and evolving…the shop, forever chaos…forever experimentation, forever a mess, forever a delightful invention waiting to be made. I do love my messy shop.

This necklace is similar to a necklace I made recently and I had a customer and friend that really liked it so I made another. This stone was an outrageous amount of money and I’m not sure why? But I loved it (the stone) so here it is in my possession. It’s a summer beauty in with it’s ocean blue color and rough crystal surface.

These bangles I have been wanting to make for a few months. I just did not get the time. I love super heavy chunky bangles and these are them! They are made from 10 gauge sterling and as big around as my little finger. Johnny Depp would look great in these. I’m always admiring his bangle assortment! Johnny Depp would really be a great customer to have. Hmmm? How do I get to accessorize Johnny Depp? Do you remember him from 21 Jumpstreet? Now I am dating myself. He has come along way.

TGIF!!! Enjoy the beautiful summer weekend doing something fun! It is finally gorgeous here in Wisconsin. I have much to share and will get to it next week 🙂

For some reason two of the same post posted… hmmm. Not sure why. So sorry about that! Johnny Depp did not call yet for his bangles, shucks. I was expecting him to call right away. Mr. Depp the bangles are very manly and heavy. You will love them. I promise.
